The One With The Indian Take Out

It's been a month since we moved out from Kuwait... We made it by ourselves for a whole month! I'm so proud! ;p Anyroad, take outs have become a major part of our lives! LOL not that we can't cook, it's just that we have a crazy, long schedule, and by the time we're home we are simply exhausted to do anything. Luckily for us, our mail is always filled with take out menus.. I'd give them a glance before opening any bank documents that was mailed lol ;p Apparently, Indian cuisines run supreme in our town ;p so we tried about 3 different Indian take outs ;p feels like we are in a mission to find the best one ;p it's fascinating! And so worth it if you're constipated! Lool ;p moving on... The other day, we thought of giving a new place a try.. Like we always do when we first moved in ;p

Me: Hello

*Indian with a fake British accent goes* Hello..

Me: I'd like to order please

Him: To pick up or delivery?

Me: Delivery please

Him: Your address?

Me: Blah blah *spelling it out for him*

Him: What do you like?

Me: *getting excited* lol 1 Prawn Curry mild.. 1 Nan.. 1 Butter Chicken, 1 Garlic and Cheese Nan.. And 2 Poppadoms.. Oh! What kind of sundried relishes you have?

Him: blah blah blah

Me: Ok all 3 ;p

Him: Your bill is £20, you can have a complimentary wine with that amount

Me: I don't want wine, what's the other option?

Him: Why?! We have white wine and red wine..

Me: I don't drink... Compliment me with something else lool ;p

Him: Are you Muslim?

Me: Yes

Him: What about your friend?

*Vain hollers across the living room* "Tell him I'm a recovering alcoholic!" LOOL

Me: *can't stop laughing* My friend is a recovering alcoholic, I don't want to drink in front of her, that'll just make her fall off the wagon LOL ;p

Him: Oh! You are a good friend, looking out for her..

Me: Yeah well.. ;p

Him: Where are you from

Me: How about I tell you that, when we dine at your restaurant? Who should I ask for? ;p Him: My name is "Allum"

Me: 3allam? ok ;p

Him: I'll be delivering your food tonight you can tell me then, cause I'll be leaving soon

Me: So now what? you're planning on stalking us??!! ;p

*Vain laughing hysterically*

Him: No no ;p

Me: So I don't want wine now, what's my options?

Him: You can have a voucher

Me: No no, *scans the menu* how about you throw in some Chicken Cocktails? ;p

Him: Mmm I'll put some Poppadoms for you

Me: We already ordered that! Itgi9 3la mnu?!! Lool ;p

Him: Ok Ok

Me: When should I be expecting it?

Him: 40-45 mins.

Me: Alright, cool.. Will see you then ;p bye

Him: Ok, Bye

*both hang up*

LOOL! OK... That was the funniest conversation I had with a stranger on the phone!

Allora, that dude calls trying to find our place.. I stepped out and waved, since he was going the other way around ;p

Instead of the wine I got a large bottle of COKE! lol ;p (Vainglorious got all excited ;p)

He went.. Your not gonna tell me where you're from?

Me: Well, you're gonna have to guess ;p

Him: mm *stares at my face* India?

Me: What?! come on.. ;p

Him: mm.. Dubai?

Me: Your getting closer *he better gets it right, before my food gets cold!* ;p

Him: Kuwait?!

Me: YES! ;p

and... I'm never gonna see him again! ;p
